How we prepare our guides and learning previews

Our public resources explain bookkeeping concepts and YourAILedger workflows in plain language. Clear authorship, visible assumptions, and useful source references help readers assess what they are learning.

Who is responsible for the content?

Public guides and Academy previews are published by the YourAILedger team. The organization is identified as the author unless an individual contributor is explicitly named. A team byline does not imply review by a CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or other licensed professional.

A professional reviewer is credited only when that person has actually reviewed the specific resource and their role can be verified. Questions about the product or a resource can be sent through the contact page.

Education and product explanation

These resources are general education and product information. They do not determine an individual business's tax treatment, legal obligations, or filing requirements. Product descriptions should be read alongside current plan details and the CPA disclaimer.

Examples and customer evidence

Worked examples use fictional figures unless a page clearly identifies a documented customer case study. A fictional business or number is not a testimonial. Customer names, quotes, screenshots, and measured outcomes require verification and permission before they are presented as a customer story.

Examples state assumptions that affect the result. Gross margin, cash received, and net profit are different measures; savings claims need evidence and a stated comparison.

Sources, updates, and automation

Where a resource refers to official instructions, we link to the relevant primary source. Rules, competitor plans, and product features can change, so dated comparisons should be checked against the provider's current information.

AI may assist with research, organization, or drafting. An AI-generated answer is not evidence of a rule or an independent professional review. Publication and update dates describe the resource's history; they do not mean a tax authority has approved it.

Report a correction

Use the contact page and include the page URL, the statement in question, and a public source or a concise explanation. Do not send passwords, card information, or private financial documents through a public feedback request. Substantive corrections should update the affected explanation and its date.
